Carl Stephen Milstead 1934-2010 was born in Onslow County, the son of Edgar Leneve Milstead 1907-2005 and Ruby Ward 1914-2005. He married Mary Ann McKeon. "Carl Milstead was one of the most accomplished lawyers and finest gentlemen I have ever know. It was always a pleasure to have him in my court and to work with him.
